network connections folder is EMPTY!
So I just went through a complete 8 step process of removing some infected files on my computer using kapersky antivirus and it must have deleted essential files for internet connections. I can no longer connect and when I went to the connections folder to see what was up it's EMPTY! Any ideas on how I can fix this without completey reinstalling windows. Thanks for any advise.

Try doing a repair installation of Windows. Assuming you are running Windows XP, the instructions are at:
