pcmcia no longer working after XP reinstall

I recently reinstalled Windows XP on my Dimension 2350 (actually I replaced the XP Home edition with the XP Professional) and the PCMCIA port no longer seems to recognize the Linksys network adapter (when I look under the devices tab it is not recognized as a network adapter). I think the problem is that the PCMCIA driver is not installed and no matter how hard I dig around I cannot find it. Maybe this is not the problem but it is the only answer I can find. Any thoughts - without it I am unable to hook into my wireless network and the internet.
