klottes,

Since all the PCs can access the internet when the TCP/IP settings are configured to obtain an IP address automatically, TCP/IP is working properly.  The most probable reason for File and Printer Sharing to fail is a blocking firewall.  Your router's DHCP server is providing private IP addresses in the range 192.168.0.x, starting with 192.168.0.2.  If, in your previous, non-satellite configuration, you used different static IP addresses, the software firewalls in the PCs need to be configured for the new IP address range.  Most new PCs are now coming with software firewalls such as McAfee Security Suite, Norton Internet Security, etc.  All of them can be configured to allow local traffic and you should use the IP address range being assigned by the router.  Configure the software firewall for the entire range, not just the individual addresses.  In your case that would be 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.255.

I read this post as I have a very similar new wireless setup and cant get the laptop to print via the network printer attached to the desktop.

I read my Norton Security handbook and ready the recent reply and it shows how to configure it's Firewall to allow printer and file sharing.
