wireless connection issue
I recently purchased a E1705 Inspiron I believe it comes with an internal wireless connection card called a 1390 or something similar. So far I am unable to connect to the Internet away from my home. What should I do and how do I connect. I am first time laptop owner.

Also, it is generally considered bad form to randomly connect to someone's access point without permission, even if it does happen to be unsecured. In some cases permission is implicit, such as if you go into a Panera Bread store that advertises free Wi-Fi access.
