wireless driver for laptop Inspiron 14 N4050
Hi,
I just got this laptop Inspiron 14 N4050.
I just want to know can i change the wireless driver from wireless 1701 802.11b/g/n (existing driver) to wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n.
And what is the different between wireless 1701 802.11b/g/n and wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n driver.

Hi earlcarl13,
Welcome to the Community,
These are two models/types of wireless card which can be configured on Inspiron 14 N4050.You need to install the driver for the wireless card which is installed on your system.
To find out which wireless card your system has,go to Control Panel,System,Hardware,Device Manager,expand Network adapters,it should list the wireless card which is installed on the system.Further right click on the wireless card listed,click properties,click Driver tab to find out the driver version and driver release date.
If you need help in verifying if your wireless card has the latest drivers,post the name of wireless card (along with driver version).

1702 802.11b/g/n :Wireless WLAN 1702 Half Mini-Card, 802.11 b/g/n and BlueTooth 3.0
1701 802.11b/g/n: Wifi/BT Combo card, 802.11 b/g/n, DW1701(Broadcom)

Ok, thank you for the information.
So this mean in Laptop Inspiron 14 N4050, they can installing either 2 type of adapters that use 2 separate driver, which in this my case it using Dell Wireless 1701 802.11b/g/n driver, right? and i can't use Dell Wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n driver.

Yes,that's right.If your system has Dell Wireless 1701 802.11b/g/n card you need to install the driver for Dell Wireless 1701 and not the one for Dell Wireless 1702.
