Anyone know the difference beetween Mini 10 and Mini 10v?
I actually ordered the Mini 10V then switched it to the Mini 10 because the sales rep told me the processor was faster on the 10V, but I was surfing the web this morning and now I am totaly confused.
Does anyone know which is better? Both machines are for the same audience/purpose, it seems. What could be the difference between them? What is the impact of having an N270 processor vs. a Z530?
Any help would really be appreciated!

Looking at the listing, the V model is the "cheaper" model, comes with a smaller hard drive and a battery that has less running time. It looks like you are better off with the 10 as it has better overall specs.

Thanks to both of you for your replies. I just found out that my order, put in on 6/13, is now supposed to arrive on July 9th. I am thinking of maybe ordering the Asus -- my niece has the 7" and it is a nice little machine.
If I could bend your ear one more time -- Question about the Asus 10", if you know about it -- is it as durable as the Dells? I ordered the Dell 1545 for my husband, and wanted a small mini computer for me to do my home-related stuff on. It will get moved around from bed to kitchen to living room to coffee shop, etc. I just want to make sure it is as durable as the Dells. My current Dell home laptop is about six years old and has performed pretty well until recently. I want something that will do the same again.
Thanks in advance.

I think I'm going to go with the ASUS (sorry to say that on this forum!) -- the n270 processor and 7hr battery life. I really hope it's fast enough for my web needs, but I guess I'll find out. The newegg website was helpful, and Consumer Reports actually rates it higher than the mini 10. We'll still keep the Dell 1545 for my husband -- he doesn't really want a mini.
Thanks again for your help!

Specs are better on current 10v machines.
