Problem: nv4-disp

Screen frequently freezing up in middle of preparing autocad drawings. Must manually turn off computer and restart. Loaded new driver info several times and has not solved problem. Running Windows XPS 720 H2C, Intel Core 2  Extreme processor QX6700. Dual 768MB NVIDA GeForce 8800GTX.

Error Message:

Device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Tech Info: Stop with a listing of several 10 digit code numbers.

My knowledge of computers is very limited other than autocad drawing expertise. I would appreciate any assistance.
