Questions for a computer dummy
I am thinking about getting a Inspiron 520 for my mother. She already has a dell desktop and a dell laptop but needs another.Her internet service is AT&T,her laptop has a wireless card.Can I get the Linksys WRT 160 N Wireless -N Home Router with the new computer and not have to get another line through AT&T. I have the linkskys G I use with my laptop but did not know if it would work with a desktop.I know it is a stupid question to some of you but I just did'nt know. Thank you for any help you might give me.

If she is connecting through a wireless router now and wants to buy a Desktop PC, she will either have to specify a wireless card option (if it's available) when the desktop is ordered or add a wireless interface after she gets it. But the existing wireless router should also work for the new Desktop.
