Rosetta Stone Problems?

New to the Community.Would like to know if anyone uses Rosetta Stone?If so,did you have a problem downloading the Software on your Windows Vista Home Computer?My Laptop is a Inspiron1525.I am thinking about buying Rosetta Stone.Thank You for your reply.

Hi, With a good broadband connection, you should have no problems downloading it and installing it. However, why don't you download the free demo, and give it a try.

Requirements for Rosetta Stone User Workstations

  • Operating System: Windows (32-bit editions only) 2000, XP or Vista, Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5
  • RAM: 512 MB or more
  • Processor: 1 GHz or faster
  • Hard-drive space: 600 MB free (per level)
  • Sound card: 16-bit
  • Display: 800 x 600 resolution (1024 x 768 recommended)
  • Internet: Internet or phone connection required for product activation
  • Microphone: Speech recognition feature requires a headset microphone (USB recommended)
  • Disk Drive: 16X CD-ROM Drive (for installation)

Additional Requirements for Online Products

  • High-speed internet connection
  • Browsers: Internet Explorer 6sp1, Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3.0, Safari 2 and Safari 3.
