re-install XP
I am wanting to FDISK my computer and am wondering if my re-installation CD will work, I can't seem to find the serial number on the CD. Or is this not needed if I use the re-install CD

You didn't mention the computer or operating system, so we can't give you specific advice.
If you are using a Dell computer, and the installation CD to which you refer is a Dell Windows installation CD, yes, this CD can be used to zero out the partitions on the drive and perform a new installatiion of Windows. You should not need to type the COA number if you are using a Dell branded re-installation CD as these are keyed to a code in the Dell BIOS that automatically activates the installation.
