If purchased from a retailer, register the Dell Service Tag number

For Windows 10, the registration can be done using the "Dell Product Registration" application. This application can be accessed from Start > All Apps.

For Windows 8.1, the registration can be done using the "Register My Device" application. This application can be accessed from Start > All Apps.
