Yes, of course I've looked at all of the Dell papers, product literature, etc. that I could get my hands on and the only thing I find is a reference to the 8265 board being an option, for the M.2, on the 7050 (7000 series).
However, I can find no picture or depiction of where it goes on the motherboard, i.e. if the M.2 is already occupied with a storage device. Nor any hardware install materials regarding this WiFi option, only software driver notes.
The question is: Does the use of the onboard M.2 storage option, negate the M.2 WiFi option? It's beginning to look like this info has been intentionally under reported.

Are you looking at the PDF manuals for your model?
I thought 7050 was new. There should not be a question or problem.
