Administrator question?

I cannot download some software onto my Optiplex 790 (refurbished) desktop.

I' getting the window to put admin username & password in.

I'm afraid I don't know them.

The only thing I can think of, is that when running through the windows set-up it suggested I use a "Pin".

My wife is on the Duel account also, so did the same for her.

Ant suggestions how I can get the proper details (admin?) required please?

Many thanks in advance.

If a Win7 key was already used to activate Win10, can it be used again on a clean install?

I DONT HAVE A KEYI DONT HAVE A KEY

Any valid COA Key that was used to activate windows 7 or 8 or 10 will clean install windows 10 with the

"I don't have a key option"  Does not require buying anything. DOES require a valid key.  You cannot use the OEM SLP WIN7 key thats in bios.  You also cannot use XP or VISTA COA key to activate windows 10.

Windows 8 and up machines have this key in bios.  Install clean with I don't have a key then change the key to what is on the COA sticker and it will activate.  HOWEVER this is then tied to that specific machine.

If you replace motherboard you have to buy a new licence.  This is why the COA Key is tied to the machine.

OEM System builder DVD's can use WIN7 or 8 or 10 keys.  There are COA stickers for 8 and 10 for machines that were upgraded to 8 or 10 with Retail or OEM licence.   You can use those keys ON THE SAME machine clean install to activate again with the "I dont have a key option".  You enter the key after getting online and changing the key.
