Audio input on Optiplex 7080

Hello,

Is there a way to configure one of the 3.5mm ports as audio input on a Optiplex 7080 Small Factor ?

Thanks,

Solved it:

- updated the Driver to the recent realtek driver (A13)
- then download Dell Optimizer

here's the link
Dell Optimizer

after it i inserted the headset and  selecter headset option and the problem was solved!!!

Thank you for your post.  I'll definitely be remembering that one with as many people that have had trouble with the single jack.

Install max audio pro retrieved from the dell website, insert a 4 pin/TRRS headset or earphone to the universal audio jack at the front pane then in the pop up dialogue box (on the Max audio pro), pick headset as the gadget you have plugged in. Alternatively, just in case the voice input tool you are using permits Bluetooth connectivity, you can get a USB Bluetooth adapter for the optiplex 7080 then you will be fine
