Computer Not Booting

I haven’t been able to get my desktop to boot for a while. The power button is blinking amber, if I do the power supply test it turns the fans on, even turns on my LED keyboard, but the computer itself won’t run. I used to be able to hear beeping inside of it but I don’t hear anything now...

Could you post the exact model of your system and if you remember how many beeps? That information will help with the diagnosis. It could be a dead CMOS battery but that is pure conjecture without the model details and more information.

Blinking amber is typically bad PSU.  A bad PSU can still give a green light and power on fans even if it's bad.  It means your other internals haven't failed a d no external peripherals are causing the problems.

If you need any further info, as aforementioned in post above, please post model and form/factor size.
