Dell Support Assistant not recognizing I am running windows 10 Pro Optiplex 990
When I run the support assistant it pulls up all my system information and everything is correct except it says I am running windows 7. However I am running windows 10 Pro. I did a clean install. I can't see any updated drivers for windows 10. I have used this to update other Optiplex system before like the 3010 and it recognized the win-10 upgrade.
Is it possible Dell has no upgraded drivers for the 990 and that's why I am not seeing this option ?
However once again I will point out the assistant says I have windows 7 installed when I clearly do not.
I am running Windows 10 pro 1909

On an older machine, there's not much point in using any Dell software. They never supported win 10; no drivers, etc. Those dell programs can sometimes cause problems too, on older machines.
I uninstalled it, and just use whatever drivers windows installs.
If you have to get a driver from dell, just use their windows 7 drivers ... they work in windows 10 too.

agree with first reply. Dell support assistant is nothing but at best a useless nuisance and at worst a system hazard. Consider it a Dell bloatware or (unintentional) malware.

Sorry to see the disdain for Dell Support Assist. Not sure why results can vary from user to user. I've used it on Win10, Win7, and a 790.
If you tried going through Support Assist, try the Drivers & Downloads link that's below the the last post below. I'm pretty sure it doesn't use Support Assist.
Also, what drivers are you looking for? May be we can help.

Here's what I was trying to think of before. Might Dell Command Update be of use?
