You need space and power for the Quadro-P100 (and both sound minimal).
Not sure what the use-case is for this machine, but if you currently have neither the machine or the Quadro card, you should probably at least look at the Precision Workstations. They are not as expensive as you think (at least not for USA-based customers).
And which-ever you buy, you want the larger form-factor one (holds full-sized cards) and with a nice power-supply. That link maybe looks like a smaller one.
yes. indeed it works! I have an optiplex dell 3060 SFF (with i5 8500, 16gb ddr4 config.) and just bought an nvidia quadro p1000 today. my psu is just 200W though but surprisingly it worked right away (yes i installed it in the one and only available pcie x16 slot) without any problem. a very common dilemma with optiplex SFF people like me is whether quadro p1000/p620/p600 would fit inside the SFF chassis and whether the power supply be enough to power it? i can confirm that the card fits in very comfortably (check photos) still leaving about 1cm of vertical space between the card and the psu. on performing the stress test (of CPU+ P1000 GPU) to verify that the psu is strong enough to handle well, the power drawn by the system unit was max. 130W (see photo). so there is still room for more power. here is the link to some photos https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoDlxcf1zZRcgbgeRC3uJh-_UsKO0w?e=Faxadb

Why would it not?

Hi Tesla1856,
Thanks for replying.
I just want to make sure that setup will work because in my country I found a promotion in this optilex.
And you're right, I should look for precision workstation.
Thx another time.

The P1000 is a low power low profile card.

Secure Boot will have to be OFF and Legacy Option Roms ON or it will not post or boot.

Thanks speedstep for your reply, it's a great trick to know.
So, finally the Quadro P1000 can nicely work in my future Optiplex 7050 MT, in the blue PCIe slot I think ?
Thx to everyone.
