IDE Config I HAVE the password, now what?
Optiplex 760
bios version A02
Error message: performing auto IDE config:
enter password:
password correct.
But nothing happens. What to do next?
I have tried F2 during boot, but screen goes strait to IDE Conf: Password correct?
suggestions please!

Try removing the RTC/BIOS battery???

Battery should read 2-3 volts???

No such thing as IDE on a system that only has SATA Drives.
