Any of above ddr2 for desktop will do. Memory comes in standard height form factor vs low profile. Both work. It does not matter. The Italian Amazon memory will work. The only criticism is way overpriced. these memory ought to be dirt cheap in 2022-2023.
That is a very old system (around 18 years old) and the specs call for a maximum of 4GB of DDR3 1066 RAM. How much RAM do you have installed now keeping mind that with the age of the system I would not suggest putting much money toward any kind of upgrade. An SSD might produce better performance but again consider the cost vs the slight performance gain and the age.
Thanks for responding! The issue is that the original memory stick is dead. It was a Kingston KVR667D2N5/1G 1GB 128M x 64-Bit DDR2-667 CL5 240-Pin DIMM.
I'm looking to replace it and wonder if this would work from Amazon: https://amzn.eu/d/3cffLD5. It's in Italian. The specs seem the same, the pins number is the same but it's taller than the original ram.
I couldn't view your link without Amazon wanting me to change countries. Then I have a hard time changing it back.
As long as the RAM isn't the KVR (Kingston Value RAM) that you had KVR has been hit and miss in Dell's. I've used A-Tech for years. Cost effective and has a lifetime warranty. I don't know if you can get it where you are though.
That's ok. I mainly do this from my phone. May be it would've worked different from PC and show me the item without changing countries for overall platform. Some sites are simply nice enough to show what's available in another country.
