Mixing Memory in Mini Tower 9010
I purchased this system used and oddly seems the 2GB DIMM is in the second slot. Odd becasue acording to the menual this should not work.
Anyway I was wondering what my upgrade options are. I guess I need to get pairs of same memory. IdealyI I would like to just put another 4GB slot in but is is possible to put a 2GB + a 4GB. If so whitch slots would I put them in?

Mixing memory is not a good idea. Many (most) times it does not work. Not just a "Dell" issue but any PC.
Here is the Crucial memory listing for this model. Dell's have a history of memory compatibility with non-Dell memory and Crucial is one brand that is guaranteed to work in a Dell. If you buy memory somewhere else, buy from a site that has a liberal return policy if it doesn't work.

would 2GB + 2GB + 2GB of same make/model memory work?
or 2GB + 2GB + 4GB with first 2 being same make model?
Does this dountas mixing?

Your 2nd option above would count as mixing. I don't see a reason why the 9010 wouldn't run on 3 chips.
