Optiplex 390 Diagnostic Test Error Code 2000-0123 Validation: 1717

My PC is rebooting again and again.

When I ran the system diagnostics, I got a memory test error code 2000-0123.WhatsApp Image 2020-06-11 at 09.10.58.jpeg

I am testing each memory module separately. However, I would appreciate having some insight to identify the issue and possible solution.

That error can be potentially memory or a defective motherboard.

Remove the memory module(s) and then power on and see what code you get.  May help in troubleshooting.

Another possibility is the CMOS memory.  Considering the age of the 390 (2011 era) if the coin cell battery has never been replaced its past time.  With it powered off and the power supply AC power cable disconnected, locate the CR2032 coin cell battery on the motherboard.  Remove the battery and wait 10 minutes before reinstalling or installing a new battery.  Power up and see if anything changed.

Otherwise try only one memory module and see If that changes anything.  If none of the memory modules changes anything chances are its the motherboard.   On a 9 year old PC I would consider replacing the PC rather than try to repair.  There are newer refurbished Optiplexes selling on Amazon for under $200 and they even have Win 10 installed.
