Optiplex 5070 Small Form Factor - Front Universal Audio Jack - Using Headset/Mic

Question

Hey, When user connects a 3.5mm microphone or 3.5mm headset to the front universal audio jack, there is no device listed in Control Panel -> Sounds -> Record tab. There is no prompt from any applications notifying of an audio device being connected, as I would expect. Optiplex 5070, Small Form Factor Audio drivers are latest from Dell website using QFC. Note: User I am supporting is working from home, I can only remotely access the desktop. Many thanks, Isaac

Hi, The solution is to install Waves MaxxPro. Download to : https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER05532202M/8/Waves-MaxxAudio-Pro-Application_M85FF_WIN64_2.0.54.0_A03_06.EXE Best regards, Hary
