Will pretty much any 2032 type battery work? I replaced the CMOS battery in my Optiplex GX260 with a new battery and am still getting the low voltage alert at startup. I am on my 3rd battery. Is this indicative of another problem? The BIOS version I have is A09.

You need to buy a battery that's not 10 years old with a Date Code which is why the DL2032 is recommended.
These batteries die whether installed or not in a machine sitting on the shelf with a maximum life of 10 years.
New batteries from the grocery store will have a 2025 to 2028 date code on them.

No. Battery sockets are typically the same; and it's still the same in your 7010.
