Dell-AC-Adapters sometimes have a tiny center pin ( 3rd contact ). It reads the digital-identity of the power-supply. It helps people not use the wrong-one and possibly blow-up their computers.
Yes indeed, if the power cord or adapter is bad, one should always always throw both in the trash with the computer, especially if they are older than one week.
It is never worth one's time to figure out what is bad, let alone trying to find replacement parts.
Let the hobos pick them up, and they can use them as doorstops.

The 130w adapter might be too powerful for the Micro although the manual says it can be used. Use the one that came with the computer. https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/optiplex-7050-desktop_owners-manual_en-us.pdf
