Optiplex 9010 SFF not detecting Micron RAM
Hello Dell community members,
I have an Optiplex 9010 SFF desktop PC with Intel Core i7-3770 3.40 GHz, 16 GB RAM, and running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I recently bought 2 sticks of 8GB 1333 MHz Micron RAMs, but when I slot it in, I cannot boot into Windows, and the power LED is telling me "system board, memory or CPU failure".
I have swapped with my other 4GB 1333 MHz RAM and it works fine, so I can confirm that the slots are indeed functional. Why is my PC not detecting the Micron 8GB RAMs?
I have complied with Dell's memory compatible guide here: Dell Optiplex Memory Compatibility Guide but then, the RAM still fails to work. Help...

I disagree, the Dell Memory Compatibility Guide states that I can use either 1333MHz or 1600MHz DDR3 RAM.

Probably wrong ram. You supposed to use Type DDR3 Speed 1600 MHz
Get the right ram from Crucial. https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/optiplex-9010-%28mini-tower%29
Your manual is here-- https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_optiplex_desktop/optiplex-9010_owner%27s%20manual3_en-us.pdf
