Hello Kewel,

Have you check the power cable connection? Is there any LED indication of power when you press the power button? If your Optiplex 9020 us a SFF or MT then locate the power supply test button on the back side of the chassis. Press the button and check if the green LED glows. Was there any recent hardware change made to the system post which you faced this issue?

There is no information to go on so no you cannot be helped.

9020 has several sizes and and AIO  model.

The Optiplex sell with six different chassis types. Knowing which one you have and posting it in your Forum thread title can assist our users in troubleshooting.

MT (Mini Tower)
DT (Desktop)
MFF (Micro Form Factor)
SFF (Small Form Factor)
USFF (Ultra Small Form Factor)
AIO (All-in-One)

The BIST button on the back GREEN LED just indicates that there is AC power available.

It is NOT an indication that the power supply is Good.

Good to know. I wonder why they bothered with the switch, as a simple ac indicator led would do the same job.

Then again dell does lots of strange things, and keeps them mostly secret

You have bad power supply.

There are no soft fixes for physically bad power supply.

Hello Kewel,

Would it be possible for you to private message me the service tag of the system so that I can review and advise accordingly further?
