Quick flashing amber light on power button.

Good day,

I have a Dell Optiplex 780 desktop. When i plug in the power cord, there is a quick blinking orange light on the power button at the front. The light is blinking at a high speed. I tried reseating the RAM and it didn't work. I tried reseting the BIOS and it did not work. I tried another PSU and it didn't work. Please help with other possible solutions to this problem and that will be appropriated

Thank you.

it's old why not check that old dead RTC coin cell first?  2009 PC, 11 year old batteries ARE NO GOOD.

do the hard reset... (ac power cord pulled?)

780DT it is..

"blinking amber — indicates a problem
with the system board"

The blinking light , can means many things for sure not one, thing this BOARD..

System board means motherboard, (MOBO)

Just assume it is a power problem. (always best) I can only assume all fans are dead, and PC is cool.

In electronics power is #1 , must be good and clean.. power.. or it will fail..

are you asking what to do , get the PC repaired in a shop, or asking how to test it..

there are only 2 paths which be yours?

TEST: (try first not guessing, and throwing hard cash at anything.)

If a new PC fails, you learned that the problem is inside the case, look there sell that stuff, all  or most of it unplugs..

learn that when parts short, that overloads  the VRM in the PSU, and ALL PSU shut off even in 16/1000th of a second , at ANY TIME (ends that fire thing)
