Refurbished Dell OptiPlex 9010 AIO touch screen unusable

My Dell OptiPlex 9010 AIO was refurbished and shipped to me on 21'st of Janurary, 2021, but built and shipped to a different person on 15 JUL. 2013, and had a end of warranty. When i got it, the computer was supposedly refurbished, and still had touch but the touch screen didnt work. Windows even said "No pen or touch input is avaliable for this display". I have had it for a few months now, and i really want a solution.

I am thinking the shop i brought it from replaced the LCD screen, or there isnt a driver.

Was the 9010 AIO under any warranty when you bought it?  Some refurb places warranty up to a year.  Definitely important to report issues right away to the seller in case unit can be or needs to be sent back or repaired.

Screen replacement is probably the only option.  Not 100% sure if it's worth on a 9010 due to age and the cost of a replacement screen?  https://www.dell.com/community/Optiplex-Desktops/Replacement-screen-for-AIO-OptiPlex-9010/td-p/7693143

I can't tell from here if your 9010 has a touchscreen or not.  But if you're in any luck, only the front bezel with glass was replaced.  So a bezel with touchscreen glass might be only what you need/want.  Besides, some things are so integrated, I'm not 100% sure if whole monitor replacement is possible.

One option to is to leave it unless you're in an environment where a touchscreen is more vital to daily tasks.

Also, i just realized that I don't really remember the company who sold the computer, and  have not really had a look in it's hardware, but it could be the screen. Also i might see online to try look for a front bezel.

It was not under any type of warranty at all and had its end of life in 2018, warranty ended around 2016 before I bought it in 2021.
