Granted your other 2 drives are just storage BIOS should see them. If BIOS does see them, but they don't show up in Windows, then uncheck them or it, click on Apply. Then recheck it to put the checkmark back in place, then click Apply. I had to go tnrough that when adding DVD drive and I think an HDD too.
On your previous PC, was it in ACHI mode or auto detect RAID/AHCI in BIOS? And is the 3010 in that same mode? If modes were different on your previous PC, that could explain why your drives aren't reading.
You could experiment with it. Nothing will break. If you change modes in your 3010, you'll find that BIOS no longer sees your OS drive. But what about your secondary drives?
As long as you are talking about the screen you are taken to after hitting F2 when you see the Dell logo.
Never seen a Bios like that~
It only shows the Hitachi HD (boot) and the DVD drive. Nothing else.
PS - I don't know anything about MODES. All I can tell you is that from the many dozens of computers that I have built and owned, I have never seen one that did NOT auto detect whatever drives you hooked up to it.
Sorry your having such a hard time with your secondary drives. What redxps630 doesn't hurt to try either.
I take it you connected both SATA power and data cable(s) to secondary drive(s). I'm sure it's obvious, but sometimes we just have to make sure from here.
If bios does not see old hdd, that is a firmware no detection before you reach boot or Windows. three possibilities: bad sata data and/or sata power connection to old hdd; bad hdd; bad sata data connection to motherboard sata port.
if bad connection, try swap the sata data/power cable of new and old hdd, swap the sata port on motherboard for new and old hdd, make sure sata connections are proper.
If you see RAID only as an option (not speaking of auto detect RAID/ACHI), RAID is mainly for servers. (I don't know how many gamers use it.) It reads a stack of HDD's as one. So I doubt your previous PC was in RAID mode. But if you're using the OS drive your 3010 came with, then maybe RAID can't be 100% ruled out yet. Is it possible your Asrock PC was in Legacy mode and that's what your storage HDD's can be read in, we'll have to see.
It dawned on me I'm not sure which OS drive your using. The one that your 3010 came with or the one from your Asrock. If you're using the one from your Asrock, and the 3010 sees that and not the storage drives, it could fall back on what redxps630 said a ways above.

You're welcome. And yah, I'm talking about F2 for BIOS.
I thought it's on the first screen when you pull up BIOS. It shows what mode it's in. (MODE isn't secret for anything else.)
If you did change modes and got BIOS to see your secondary drives, (if I have this right) then Windows would have to loaded in the same mode.

Thanks tons everyone,

If you do check BIOS modes, expand General (on top), then you'll see and be able to click on System Information.
