USB-C dock/hub work with Optiplex 5090 micro?

Went on-site today to set up a new Optiplex 5090 Micro but the customer’s 2x displays only had DVI, VGA or HDMI and the 5090 had 2x Display port outputs, no HDMI.

She did have the docking station linked below that I tried to use in the middle to connect via the front USB-C port on the Opti 5090, but I couldn’t get any video to display out. The dock works fine with the laptop and has 2x DP, and 2x HDMI ports.

Any idea if that model dock will work after I get the 5090 up and running? I thought that maybe since it was new out of the box it may need to pull a driver to get it to work but since I had no video, I couldn’t get through the OOBE to setup the profile and connect it to the internet. I also have never used a dock with a desktop before so I’m not sure if this would work but it’s over USB-C so the 5090 should identify it as a hub I would think. She ideally wants the monitors, keyboard, and mouse connected to the dock and then she would just plug the USB-C cable from the dock to either the laptop or the desktop depending on what she wants to use.
