Dell P2212H 21.5" Monitor display goes off

I have a problem with me lcd. As i turn me pc on my lcd works fine, but when i use it for about 2, 3 hours and after that if i restart my pc or lcd its display go off. I turn my lcd off and on it again, but display comes for about half a second and then goes again...any solution please..!!?
