What is obvious is that if you lift it up or push down on the casing it stops instantly.
Sounds like a simple mechanical case vibration. If not the case itself, a "spinning" part like HDD or Fan is likely cause. Are all the case pieces snapped into place ... are all the screws tight?
Insert a kitchen-cabinet bumper (or black electrical tape wrapped around a piece of cardboard) between the case pieces that are vibrating.
