Thanks Aikemu for your research and your kind sharing!  It is very helpful for Oracle dataguard and EMC SRDF collaboration.  Not sure if there is any updated document with EMC VMAX?

I have been researching the question and unfortunately I have not found an updated presentation. I suspect that because Sataguard is a competitive product we have not put a lot of emphasys into developing an updated whitepaper.

Thanks Nick!  I also did same effort on searching, but without any result. 

Dataguard and SRDF are diffrent level replication technologies can be used to meet different customer environemnt.  They can also work together if the customer require not only DB replication, but also some other applications for block level replications.
