10GbE Network daughter cards for R620

Hi,

We are currently having 1GbE Quad port network card on our R620 and we wanted to upgrade to 10GbE. Are there any Quad port options available? We have come across the following product numbers for Intel NIC and wanted to know what was the difference.

0P71JP

99GTM

098493

Thanks! Which one of the 3 is newer? Is there any Quad port 10GbE offering for R620?

Dhiru1602,

The P71JP and the 98493 are the same card essentially as they are interchangeable.

P71JP is a  12G, INTEL, 2+2, V2

99GTM is a PCIe, 12Gbps Intel(R) Gigabit Quad Port X540/I350

98493 is 12G, INTEL, 2+2, V2 (Interchangeable with P71JP)

As well all 3 appear to be supported in the R620.

Let me know if this helps.

99GTM appears to be the newest, but the other 2 are 10g, and all of them are Quad Ports.

Is this the correct 99GTM? It has 10GbE x 2 and 1GbE x 2 ports. Please check the images.

I can't find the difference between P71JP and 99GTM. Does 99GTM actually support more features when compared to the P71JP or is it just an exact same card with a changed product number?
