Dell PE 6850 Memory and Processor problems
Good day everyone,
I have a 6850 with serial number ***** (service tag removed for security purposes) , from the beginning he showed an error -E07F0 PROC 4 IERR, PROC 3 IERR , then I ran Dell Memory test (DELL_32-BIT-DIAGNOSTICS_5118-3_R212797(1)) test. The server started to show an error :
CPU 04 detected a memory data miscompare at address
02_66b00008H Actual: 00000000h Expected :FFFFFFFFh.
Then I pulled out all memory brushed rubber band, then the server is operating normally, and no errors to be.
I would like to know what could be the problem? Maybe it's in the motherboard?

Reseating the memory may have cleared the issue. Over time, with heating and cooling, memory chips develop "chip creep". Reseating and cleaning the edges put the memory back into the slots firmly. Its recommended that memory be reseated along with any cards during routine maintenance. Continue to monitor your server.
