Difference between Volex two-headed power cord & separate power cords?
Hello,
I've ordered a few PowerEdge servers and all of them have come with three power cords. One is a Volex brand with two female connectors and the standard male connector. The other two are basically standard power cords, with one of each connector. What's the difference between using the Volex cord or the two standard cords?

The only difference is the ability to plug into 2 separate power sources. This is to accomplish an extra layer of redundancy.
