This is a very common error. SBE errors are simply singleb-bit memory errors that were corrected by the ECC of the memory. This can be caused by many reasons - top two are corrosion on the DIMM or a bad DIMM. If the SAME DIMM(s) have been replaced for this issue before then it is possible that the DIMM socket is the problem. I would suggest that you contact Dell.
Thanks for your response. Troubleshooting this error in the past, I have moved the DIMM to a different bank on a different card. The error has followed the DIMM. But, perhaps it's time for Dell to replace the card that the DIMM banks reside on. Sounds by your response that this error is not very critical. Is it harmful to leave it as is?
