You would want to split up those functions across multiple servers anyway, so I would not look to cluster.
I would suggest using one server for AD, DNS and any other windows applications like WSUS you want to run. I would use one server for exchange. I would load up the last server with HDDs and use it as the data/backup/ftp server. You could offload the data and FTP to the other two servers so that you only have backups on the one server.
There are a lot of ways you can mix/match the functions, but the best setup would be dependent on several factors. Based on the information you have provided so far I would not cluster anything.
If you call sales 800 822-8965 they should be able to assist with a consultation service if you need someone to plan your configuration.
It sounds like you are wanting to put the server in an active/active cluster. You will probably want more equipment than what you currently have to create a cluster.
You could probably set up a mapped drive cluster with the equipment that you have, but the performance would be bad. When clustering you really need shared storage like a NAS/SAN and a lot of bandwidth between the components. I'm not sure of the specs on the KVM/Switch you are using, but I doubt it is adequate for a cluster.
Why are you wanting the servers to act like a single unit? Please provide more details on what you are trying to accomplish and why. There may be another method to perform what you are trying besides clustering.
Another flag is that even with some shared storage (SAN), Microsoft clustering is only available on Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise or Datacenter (2012 offers clustering on standard).

Hello Dr Moad

I would recommend contacting your account team for a consulting service to find out the best way to implement.
Thanks
