PCI Riser for PowerEdge Rack Server
Dear all,
i have a plan to buy PowerEdge Rack server unit, but i have a standart PCI card where the license of my software will check that this device is exist, and also this standart PCI card came with its own applications, is there any combo PCI-Riser unit i could use in PowerEdge Rack server environtment, so in any situation i could use both PCI-e card or standart PCI card without problem ?, if there is, what kind of PCI-Riser i should buy, and what PowerEdge rack server that could fit in my situation.
thanks.

This is very vague. As there are option parts for (lets say for this example) the 9th gen units (2950, 1950) that have PCI-x risers in place of the PCI-E. 8th gen servers are all going to have PCI and pci-x slots for the most part. I guess it really comes down to how much power you need for processing and budget at this point. Do you have any power edge servers currently? I can point you to some people that resell the parts I mentioned above if so.
