I only have one so that's fine. Is it the power connector for the processor fan or something else related to the processor? I'll take a closer look at the system tonight.
If it is possible to install any video card, in the dell Poweredge T430 server, I just checked, currently install a RX 560, just go into BIOS, disable the video controller, then use a Sata to PCI Express adapter to power the card, and voila.

Hi,
There is no offical GPU support for the T430. Some cards that may work at the AMD W7000, Nvidia Grid K2 and K20.

Josh,
Thank you. Is there a part I need to get to hook up the PEG port on a card like the AMD W7000 to the T430's power supply?

The part number for the power cable which is 2X4 pin DRXPD. The part number for the card is 204R2.

Thanks. Where does the 2x4 pin power cable connect to on the motherboard?

It looks like it uses one of the power connectors for the processor. If you have two CPUs that may be an issue.

It is extra power for the processor.

I see -- I didn't realize they get additional power beyond what comes through the pins.
