Sound card for Windows Server 2012 R2
Hii all, I am first time here... I had just purchased a T430 tower server installed with Windows Server 2012 R2. I had tried using an usb sound card and also changing some settings but there is still no sound. Does anyone knows if any built-in PCIe sound card can be used in my server? Thank you!

It simple terms, that's lame. In a more direct note, that's gouging. So what does Dell want these certain customers to do; buy two systems such as a T7920 and a T640??? By definition, that's gouging. You can't install a RAID controller in a T7920 (unless you downgrade to a workstation processor) and you can't install a sound card in T640. Additionally, it's very costly to run a GPU in a T640 (by Dell design). Not to mention, the Dell Precision line doesn't support Windows Server. Get a life; i'd find a job where they didn't promote gouging (by design). May i remind you that it's antics such as this that killed the PC business for the founder (IBM).
You think i'm harsh ... I just spent ridiculous $'s and time trying to build a single Dell based Engineering workstation that runs Windows Server, has GPU, and sound. Not do-able for contemporary Dell products; by design, and that pisses me off. I'm considering going back to Supermicro; hope they didn't become so arrogant.
