You need to configure RAID prior to attempting to install the OS.  You must also load the Chipset SATA driver (for the DVD drive) along with the RAID driver - at F6 or slipstream it as well.

Thanks for the prompt response. I did set up the RAID array first in the controller card BIOS. And is the AHCI driver needed if the embedded motherboard controller is set to "ATA" as opposed to AHCI, or RAID? In any case, I'd slipstreamed all hardware (including AHCI) and the installation farts one of two ways: x07B BSOD, or it cannot find the drives. I'm beginning to think the controller card I'm using won't play nice with a Dell. In fact, I later tried installing Server 2K8 and after loading the RAID card drivers, I got an error message to the effect that Server 2K8 didn't think it could load the OS to my selected drives.

Has anyone else gotten a generic (non-Dell) RAID card to work with a T110? If so, what make and model? Adaptec? Promise? Highpoint? The SAS 6iR and PERC cards are a bit pricey compared to the one I'm using now...though granted, it doesn't work. :-(  Thanks.

Problem solved! I removed the offending RAID card and set up the on-board PERC S100! :emotion-21:
