No.  Legacy SCSI was never a consideration in the design for modern servers, as they have all gone to SAS.  You would need an older server (which do not support SCSI U640) or an external solution (also not supported directly from the latest servers).  To use U640 (?!), you would need a system from another vendor designed for continued legacy-SCSI support.

It may be possible, but its not a supported solution on this server.  It would be a hit and miss effort on your part to see if one actually would work.

If i want to install this card :

 it's possible to manage prblem with scsi connection ?

Like the others mentioned; there is no guarantee that it will work.


That being said, Adaptec and LSI SCSI controllers are your best chance of finding a compatible card.

If you use that card, you will have to attach them to an external SCSI enclosure - there is NO WAY to hook up a SCSI drive INSIDE of an R720 server.
