I've updated using the providEd disk but now I'm unable to access the lifecycle controller (f10) due to the warning "system services update required "

How can i update that?

I can't run the idrac web interface probably because is not working anymore due to the missing upgrade

I'm also unsure to have idrac or not in this server.

There is nothing to check in the provided disk

Updates are automatically executed sequentially and LCC was updated on first run

I've tried running the same disc about 5 times but nothing change, I'm still unable to use the idrac or access the F10 option during boot

I have to update 11 R510 more, I can't install an OS on each of them just to update a firmware.

Additionally, we use Debian everywhere, that is not directly supported by DELL, thus I can't update the LCC firmware from the OS.

What is strange is that I'm also unable to access the iDRAC console, that should be used when the OS is not working.

Any other solution?

I'm sorry, I have only been half following this thread, but has Repository Manager been discussed as an option?

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=13RD8&fileId=3472398462&osCode=WS8R2&productCode=poweredge-r510&languageCode=en&categoryId=SM

This will create a custom repository for the R510, then all you have to do is boot to the media it creates and the system firmware will all be updated. Sorry if it has been discussed already - it's just easier than installing a temp OS on each (as easy as that is).

Is using the bootable CD that i broke the lifecycle controller

The CD updated all firmware and now the LCC doesn't start anymore.

Even the idrac management interface doesn't start thus i can't use the LCC repair package
