Configuring Dell CERC Sata 1.5/6channel for non raid
Have a PowerEdge 750 server that has a CERC Sata 1.5 6channel controller in it. The server is setup to boot from a single SATA drive that is connected to the onboard SATA controller. I would like install (2) 1 terabyte drives on the CERC and configure them so they show up as a single 2 terabyte drive rather than the normal raid that configures the drives as a single 1 terabyte drive. Is this possible and how do I configure the drives. Thanks!!

You'd have to create a 2-disk raid 0 to do this. The CERC can do this just fine.
One heads-up; if one of the 2 drives fails, you do lose the data on both drives. So your risk of dataloss does increase over just using a single drive.
