Degraded Virtual Drive in RAID Array

I have a Dell PowerEdge T320.  Running Windows 2008 R2 x64.  It has the PERC H310 Adapter with two 500GB drives in a RAID-1 configuration.

When I use the OpenManage Server Administrator, it says one of my virtual disks is degraded.  I think this is the cause of my server going nuts for the past month.  What does the degraded mean?  Should I replace the drive?  I believe this system will let me do hot-swaps too.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

You can try to rebuild the existing drive or simply replace it. If it has hot-swap drives, then make sure you hot-swap the drive.
