PowerEdge 1950 Hard Drive
Hello,
I have a Dell PowerEdge 1950 configured with 2 hot swappable HDs (each 750GB). I need to expand the available storage to this box and I want to know what my options are. I know that there is an optional SAS daughter card that i can purchase that would allow me to add 2 internal HDs; if this is the case, then how big can these HDs be? (i.e. what is the maximum storage that can be configured on a 1950)? I kindly appreciate any help that can be provided.
Thanks

If you're using 2.5" disks then there should be two extra bays; however my understanding is that the system can only support two 3.5" disks. Sorry, but I don't know about the SAS daughter card.
