Poweredge 1850 - Raid Problem
Hey.
I reinstalled my poweredge 1850 today from Ubuntu Server to CentOS. First problem, when i boot the server this comes up:
Press to enter raid setup or press any key to continue.
After this comes up nothing happends.. And when i press "any" key it takes 12 minutes for the CentOS login screen to pop up.
I recently changed my raid settings " Recunstruct Logical Drive 0 ".

Hello ellelol
If you chose to reconstruct the array then there will be degraded performance until it completes. A reconstruction verifies and tries to repair every block on the array. This is a time consuming process that can take anywhere from several hours to weeks depending on the size of the array, speed of the drives, transfer rate, and controller.
Once the reconstruct has finished the performance should improve. If you install OpenManage Server Administrator you should be able to view the array status. I'm not sure if it will show a percentage though. You may have to view the controller logs to check the status.
