Poweredge 2850 Perc/Cerc u821 - all drives in ready mode and unselectable
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can help me with probably broken RAID1 setup, after many attempts to fixing it, I decide I want zap whole setup and start from scratch, after clearing configuration I'm not able to select disks and create new array. Please see following photo:
This server use SCSI disks, is there any way to clear previous array settings and wipe all disks?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello
Did you change the cabling or slot position of the drives? Only channel 0 has RAID functionality. If the drives are not connected to a slot on channel 0 then you will not be able to put them in a RAID array.

I've swapped drives few times to different slots, I'll check this tomorrow morning and let you know. Thanks.

Hi Daniel, cabling was wrong, SCSI A was connected to slot B on the raiser card, I've moved it to slot A and now I can can see both drives. Thanks you for your help.
