Question about PERC H330 Write Speeds:

Hi. We just got a Dell PowerEdge T330 with 4 x 120GB SSDs in a RAID10 config.

Ran an ATTO Benchmark and am concerned about the write speeds shown in the image below.

Any settings or tweaks to change this?

FYI - the SSDs are Intel DC S3510 Series (6 Gbps)

Hello

Any settings or tweaks to change this?

The write speeds seem normal. I'm not sure what your expectations are.

The H330 does not have write cache. Any RAID array that you create will have overhead. That overhead will cause the drives to write slower than if they were not in a RAID array. If you need better performance then I suggest that you upgrade to an H730. The H730 has write cache and does not have to pause data flow. It is able to cache that data instead of pausing and unpausing.

Thanks

If it's normal, it's normal. Just making sure.

Thanks!
